Product description
A busy construction site your child builds cube by cube. Each 2 cm cube carries a printed work-zone texture (red bricks, grey concrete, scaffolding, yellow-and-black hazard stripes, sand with a traffic cone, roads with lane markings) and snaps to the next one on any of its six faces, so the building stays standing while little hands keep adding floors.
Does your child watch every crane and dump truck on the street? This set puts them in charge of the job. First they build the site from the picture, with its tower crane, its half-finished building, its yellow work vehicles, dump trucks, traffic lights and a construction worker two cubes tall. Then they take it apart and invent the rest: a taller tower, a new road, a whole neighborhood.
Reproducing the site from the picture is a real planning exercise: count the cubes, find the right texture, work out which floor goes first. Your child practices spatial reasoning and sequencing without noticing, because the goal is simply to get the building finished before the trucks leave.
The magnets make the process forgiving. Cubes that line up click together, a cube placed the wrong way is turned around in a second, and nothing collapses when a wall is rebuilt. Building the site from the picture asks your child to plan, count and sequence: which floor goes first, where the scaffolding sits, how many hazard cubes the crane needs to reach the top. Each session strengthens their ability to picture a 3D shape and carry out a multi-step project on their own.
Once the model stands, the crew takes over. The crane lifts its hook, the dump trucks bring more sand, the worker checks every floor: pretend play grows out of the build, and the site becomes the setting for a new job every day.
