A sleepy ghost town your child brings back to life cube by cube. Each 2 cm cube carries a printed texture (green meadow, sandstone, cracked dark stone, frosty ice, deep-blue water, golden treasure chests) and snaps to the next one on any of its six faces, so the ruins stay standing while little hands keep adding to them.
Does your child love exploring and hunting for treasure? This set turns that into a building adventure. First they build the old town from the picture, with a crumbling gateway, a dark hideout with red windows and a frosty pond, then send the two young explorers after the hidden chests: a mystery, never a scare, and a fun pick for spooky season. Then they take it apart and invent the rest: a town hall, a bridge, a secret treasure room.
Reproducing the ruins from the picture is a real planning exercise: count the cubes, find the right texture, work out which row goes first. Your child practices spatial reasoning and sequencing without noticing, because the goal is simply to get the gateway standing before the treasure hunt begins.
The magnets make the process forgiving. Cubes that line up click together, a cube placed the wrong way is turned around in a second, and nothing collapses when a wall is rebuilt. Building the ghost town from the picture asks your child to plan, count and sequence: how high the gateway rises, where the pond goes, which stones hide the treasure. Each session strengthens their ability to picture a 3D shape and carry out a multi-step project on their own.
Once the ruins stand, the explorers take over. The girl climbs to the lookout fire, the boy searches the dark hideout, a golden chest waits behind the gateway: pretend play grows out of the build, and the empty town fills up with new stories every day.
